State College Church of Christ

For those living in the State College area, we offer an opportunity to study the Bible in the privacy of your own home with one of our members. We would count it a priviledge to study God's Word with you. If meeting in your home is not convenient, other arrangements can be made such as meeting togehter in our building or in one of our homes.

We believe home Bible studies provide one of the best avenues to learn God's Word and at the same time develop friendships that will help convey the love of Christ. Our focus is to guide you in biblical truths of the Bible and to help you establish a relationship with the Heavenly Father and His church.

The Bible Studiers

was formally organized on April 2, 1985 and have been meeting on a regular basis since that time. The stated purpose of the "Bible Studiers" is to provide an opportunity for Christians to gather in an informal setting to study God's Word, to encourage each other and to build up each other spiritually.

These objectives are obtained by Bible reading and discussion, by singing hymns and spiritual songs and by prayer. The aim is to emulate Christ in our lives and to share His teachings with others. Bible studies and discussions are held on campus each Thursday evening from 8:00-9:00 pm in room 311 of the   W L Henning Building. A number of conversions have resulted from the study and teaching of the Bible Studiers. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to study and reason together.
